How to Play

Words in two languages fall into a stone tower, one at a time. Your job is to bring translation pairs together — when they meet, both words vanish and you score points. Let the tower fill to the top and it's game over.

↔️

Drag to position

Slide a falling word left or right to choose which column it lands in.

⬇️

Double-tap to drop

Hard-drop a word instantly to its landing position with a double-tap.

↕️

Slide stacked words

Already-landed words can be slid horizontally to create new matches.

👁️

Peek translation

Long-press any stacked word to briefly reveal its translation as a hint.

Game Modes

Mix and match difficulty, matching style, and slide behavior to suit your play style.

🟢

Easy

Larger word tiles, wider tower, smaller groups of 20 pairs. Great for beginners.

🔴

Hard

Smaller tiles, tighter tower, groups of 30 pairs. For players who want a real challenge.

🤝

Touch Match

Words match when they touch horizontally or vertically — more flexible placement.

🎯

Full Overlay

Words must fully overlap to match — precise stacking required.

🛑

Slide Stop

Sliding a stacked word stops when it hits an obstacle.

💪

Push Mode

Sliding a word pushes adjacent words aside — chain reactions possible.

Word Queue & Fairness

LinguoTower uses a carefully designed algorithm to ensure every game feels fair. The 547 word pairs are divided into groups and pre-shuffled so that each word's translation always appears nearby — close enough to be matchable, far enough to keep you thinking. No pair ever appears twice, and no translation is ever frustratingly out of reach.

Master all 547 pairs and you earn the title of Master of Tower — unlocking an extended vocabulary pack.
